I can look back on more than 29 years of practical experience as a dentist specialized in implantology, prosthetics, periodontology and oral surgery. I worked not only in Germany, but also in Austria, Switzerland and Turkey.

I graduated from university in 1993, and after a short experience as a visiting fellow in Graz at the Karl-Franzens University in the Oral Surgery Department, I had the opportunity to have a position as a clinical assistant in Zurich, where I have worked for 2 years in the Department of Oral Surgery and at the same time did my doctoral thesis made and the title Dr. med. dent.

From 1996 to 2014 I worked in the Department of Prosthodontics at Istanbul University, where I also got my PhD degree in 2004 and associate professor title in 2012. In 2014 I had the privilege to be the founding department the chair of the prosthodontics department of the dental faculty of the Okan University in Istanbul.

I have been living in Germany since the beginning of 2017 and have also received my German license. In the first 2 years I worked in a private dental clinic. In 2019 I have continued my academic career as a senior lecturer at the University of Witten/Herdecke, in the Department of Periodontology.
